Arkansas Harley Ride

Early morning sunrise at home.  We left at 9 am on March 15.  We trailered the bikes to Rogers Arkansas. It took most of the day to get there, we checked into the motel and found a Mexican restaurant.
Here we are at the Harley store the next morning in Rogers called Pig Trail, a very nice store.  Checking out the route before leaving here.   We left for a 2 day ride, leaving the trailer at the Pig Trail Harley store.

This is Buck and Jane's new bike.

Taking a break and enjoying the view, it was beautiful for the most part.  Many people don't know the meaning of "dutch clean"

We stayed at a little motel in Russellville that night.  The guys were up early wiping down their bikes for another day of riding.  It started to sprinkle on us as we were leaving, the clouds looked like we were going to get it, so did the weather man tell us.  But God changed it all up and it turned out to be a beautiful day.

getting it clean

nice one

Buck starts every morning with a diet mountain dew, crazy!

This was a scenic stop along the way, see the blooming crab tree behind Buck's bike?

S-t-r-e-t-c-h...us gals need to get accustomed to riding long periods at a time. 1 hour is all we can handle.

getting ready to go again,

ear plugs,

Not sure what Joan is looking at,

Not sure what Jane did or said but she talked Buck into wearing his helmet and rick did too.  That made my day!  It's not even law in Arkansas.

We stopped at War Eagle Mill and took a break, so did many other Harley riders.

Rick had to take these pictures.  Inside it showed different levels of water at different years.  The barn was way under several times.

This was a bridge that we actually walked over...

We ended up going over this bridge with the bikes and taking that trail on around, cars were even using it to get to and from work.

Very pretty!

Checking out the sights

They sold flours and more that they actually milled right there.  They had some awesome desserts they were serving too.  You could get everything in bulk, a fun stop I must say.  Upstairs they ever had some pottery and other gifts you could purchase, BUT our storage was quite full, maybe even a bit too full with un -necessary things.

Harley people will always take a picture, nice people.

We had a great time, also a "safe time".  I have a feeling we might do more of this biking thing.  We went about 35-50 mph the whole trip which made it very enjoyable for us women.  We enjoyed God's beauty, good food especially at Carrabba, a great place to eat!, and the friendship we have with Buck and Jane.  We give God all the glory for an awesome time!
