Nana to KC family

If you have any Van Zante blood in you and you are young maybe a little bit older...you love to dance...

"are you kidding me?"
This is what the kitchen is like when meal prep is happening, if it includes raw meat that is... Christina doesn't touch it with her hands and eats hardly any meat period...the right cooked hamburger and chicken breast is it.
It seems like all our grand children love to watch mom and dad cook and bake sitting on the counter.  I think that is why Brandyn likes to be in the kitchen to this day. Grandma Nettie should have let her son on the counter to help.  They all love it and occasionally they get to lick the beaters, spoon and bowl...mmm mmm good!
Yes we have more than one monkey in the family too, most of them aren't scared of nothing.
my what BIG feet you have Cadynce.  They wear anything on their feet to get to the tramp.
Beckym is now potty trained, no big deal just a few tough days, right mom?  Anyway, he ran around in undies for a couple weeks and still rather enjoys it.  When mom leasts expects it she turns her head to find all the clothes off.  At least he kept his undies on this time.
Payton had to take care of the neighbors 2 dogs on the weekend, he's just now coming back from throwing ball to them for a while. a little fuzzy, sorry.  Cadynce, Beckym, Christina and I went swimming in the development pool for 3 hours, we watched Cadynce play his game at 4, a VERY hot game, Payton's at 6, then Christina and I took the boys home to bathe and go to bed... we were both done!
Cadynce would swim all day if you let him.
Beckym will go stand in the deep end and just wait for his mommy to come and catch him in the water.  Here Christina was trying to stay in the shallow part so she wouldn't get wet.  Go to her blog attached to mine to see who went to the deep end and yes got soaked.  It was so hot it actually felt ok that day.
pit stop...time for a snack.  Mommy packed lunch, they work up an appetite in the water.  Cadynce below, on your marks, get set, go
on deck...
it's a hit...

got to first, get the helmet put up so he can see to run to 2nd...
running to 3rd
made it into home.  They had to get a special "red" helmet for his little head.  They all like to try and wear it and sometimes when he's up to bat he can't use it.
Sunday morning getting ready for church.  Beckym is having his temperature taken, pretty normal for him to run a little fever after a big day
Cadynce came down stairs ready to go to church and was giggling change in his pocket, we asked him what and how much was in there?  He said he was giving his money to God.  Then God is going to come and get it after church.

making sure he's okay to go, he got down and ran to his cat
