quality time at the Marlow home in KC

Emily is giving breakfast to both girls,
Beckym eating a snack on the run,
Lake and Cadynce are singing and dancin' the ABC's on Nana and Papa's mattress downstairs...or is it the inside trampoline??


The steps is always a popular place so they all showed Bray-Lynne how fun it is. As soon as we got back home to Iowa we were in the midst of a snow storm. Bray-Lynne mastered the steps and thinks it's so much fun now. They are still working on getting it through to her that going down is just as much fun as going up when it's done the "right way." She along with every other one took a hard fall when they first moved so she was very cautious for awhile. Some kids go right back and others don't. It's fun to watch how their personalities are all forming.
You can almost imagine, with almost 2- 1yr. old girls and boys ranging from 1 1/2 - nearing 11, a lot goes on when we have "quality time!" Nana has a hard time knowing which way to run and what to do with whom most of the time. It's never long enough when it comes to that. But 2 nights seems to be a good amount of time so no one gets under anyone else's skin and then we can't wait till the next time of quality time all together. I think everyone was ready to be in our own homes again.
