The 806 has been in many pieces since August of last year. I had so many opportunities to get rid of a few parts so it wouldn't run again, I blew it! Rick gets pretty excited to take off and get the thrill that he gets to hook up to the sled with the 806 and race down the track for what is it...20-30 seconds? How could I even think about throwing parts away. This is the first tractor he bought. He has planted, cultivated, hauled wagons...I think he did it all at one time. Amazing how we did it then and how we farm now, wow! At one time I too had an 806, I remember cultivating in the same field, 2 806's / 2 cultivators / many rows of standing beans / not so many standing beans, it was hard, you actually had to steer the tractors back then.

The next day after he finally had it all put together Lake came out. Papa gave him a ride around the yard. Lake was speechless! I can't wait to take him to a pull this year. We were all going to go last night but it was rained out. One of these times he will follow him.
